THERAPEUTIC SERVICES

At Body Energy Institute we are proud of the quality of our staff. All of our therapists are Nationally Certified through the Virginia State Board of Nursing and each continues to pursue their continuing education in various massage specialty areas as required by the state of Virginia. We offer many different modalities at a reasonable price.
The Body Energy Institute also offers private appointments in a variety of body and energy based therapies.


Myofascial Release is a safe, non-traumatic technique applied to decrease the fascial restrictions (connective tissues) in the body to reduce pain and create greater ease of physical, movement. It is based on the application of gentle forces in a specified direction.

Therapeutic Massage is the art by which skillful manipulation of the hands upon the body facilitates health and the feeling of well being. It is also one the most effective forms of body maintenance and stress management.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system. This therapy enhances the body’s natural healing processes to improve the operation of the central nervous system, dissipate the negative effects of stress, enhance health and strengthen resistance to disease. Sessions run 1 hour.

Core Zero Balancing is a hands-on bodywork system designed to align your energy body with your physical structure. Considered at the leading edge of body/mind therapies ZB moves beyond Western scientific approaches to body structure by incorporating Eastern concepts of energy and healing. What this does is enable a practitioner to work simultaneously with your structural and energy bodies to bring balance. Sessions run approximately 1 hour.

Reiki is a system of healing that is practiced by the simple process of laying on of hands to channel healing energy through the practitioner to the recipient. Sessions run approximately 1 hour.

Restorative Breathwork is a progressive sequence of breathwork sessions designed to dismantle common breathing habits as a means to enhance the body’s natural ability to draw in and absorb prana. Emphasis is on reducing stress and its effects on the body and mind. This approach serves as a foundation in learning how to consciously work with the breath in order to restore physical health and well-being. Sessions run from 1 to 1˝ hours.
